ATC is a euro-trance project produced by Alex Christensen (U 96, Rollergirl ...) in Hamburg. ATC stands for "A Touch Of Class". The members were Joe Murray, Tracey Elizabeth Packham, Sarah Egglestone, and Livio Salvi. All members of the group had already worked together on the musical "Cats - Cats" and it was there that Thomas M. Stein discovered them. Their first single "Around The World (La La La La)" was a huge hit: in Germany, he stayed in # 1 for 7 weeks.

It was also No. 1 in Israel and Great Britain. The song is a cover of the Russian group Ruki Vverh. In Russian, the lyrics of the song sounded completely different and the title is "Pesenka" released in 1998. Atc They recorded the video in the basement of the International Congress Center in Berlin. Then they released their first album "Planet Pop", which very quickly received the ECHO award for the best group Dance. The next singles were "My Heart Beats Like A Drum" and "Thinking Of You." Both songs also turned out to be huge hits.

Even though "Thinking Of You" was completely different from the two previous songs in terms of style, the fans also loved the beautiful ballad. The last single from the "Planet Pop" album was "Why Oh Why". The very danceable song again topped the charts all over the world. The music video for "Why Oh Why" was filmed in Sweden. The next single entitled "I'm In Heaven" already promoted the second upcoming album. In 2002, the group performed at a concert alongside DJ Bobo and together they sang a new version of his hit "Together".

An album titled "Touch The Sky" was released in March of the same year.
